Perhaps sleep deprivation agrees with me...

Anyway, despite working an extra shift this week I pretty much put the finishing touches on the lab of the Future Girl. I tried to give it a cleaner, brighter look than the lair of the Mad One. I want to set the Future Girl up as nearly impossible for the Dark Panther to beat, but... well, that would be telling, wouldn't it.

I may have used too many reflective surfaces as it takes quite a while to render each scene with all the ray tracing bounces, but I like it and have decided to continue even though rendering is a bit more of a trial than usual (and it usually bites).

I should acknowledge the artists at DAZ3d whose mesh "the girl" is the basis for Penny Bryte and the Dazzle Dolly. The artists at Content Paradise provide Miki, the mesh from which I developed the character of the Future Girl. I make some of my own props using Hexagon, Wings and Carrara for development. When I look at the complexities of the humanoid 3D meshes that I only lightly tweak, I am in awe. I'd like to think that with enough practice someday I could create my own character from scratch. I probably won't live long enough, though.

Hey... I thought I was over birthday morbidity!!

Bottom line, I think I will be getting through the Kaanga meets Mitsuko episode this week and on to the first confrontation of a hapless heroine (Occulta) by the Dark Panther.

Denis Kitchen said he'll be renewing the Li'l
Abner series next year where it left off.

I'll look around in my files. If I find something suitable, I'll scan and post to my scraps section. Stand by.
